Sounds like one great book with endearing and admirable characters. And it's good that it is a standalone which means I will enjoy it even without reading the first book. Great job on the review. Congratulations to Belle Ami on such an obviously well written book.

The book sounds very intriguing as it involves female characters and romance but I'm afraid if I'll cope up with kidnapping or raping scenes which are also involved. Thanks for this wonderful review.

It sounds like this is a good mix of fiction with a touch of reality and thought provoking topics.

Belle Ami wows in a rare middle eastern setting with all the ingredients of a spy thriller.Once you start, you are hooked by the characters and don't want to put it down.

It's not a sweet thing when you have a well knit family then it fall under threats. I know it's not easy for people who face such things especially the police.

I am glad the lead female character of the series is portrayed as a strong woman. Seems like it is a series that discusses serious current events while being engaging. Thanks for the good review.

It is a unique story. I cannot wait to read the whole book. I'm really interested in knowing how the story ended. Did any of them die? Layla or Cyrus or their daughter.
