I like fast-paced romance novels and Perfect by D. D. Larsen seems like it is right up my alley. Great job on the review.

I don’t read many romance novels. I’ll pass on this one, but I enjoyed your thorough and thoughtful review. Thanks for your honest take.

Good plot from the author, but still need more in the finishing touches of the story, the review clearly point this out, I'll surely check to get the first perspective of the story. And congrats on BOTD.

I don't mind books that deal with sex scenes, but unless it's specifically an adult erotic book, as many scenes as described in the review do get annoying after a while. They lose their meaning and I can't see how this kind of book needs this so much. I may be wrong and given the plot and twists and turns I'll probably add this to my TBR and give it a chance myself.

Thank you for your honest review. I was curious, from your description, why you rated it only 2 out of 4 stars, but reading your reasons why, you actually listed one of the same reservations I had. Namely, that guys like Kieran don't actually exist in real life. That age difference and his perfection would be kind of a turn off for me. I enjoy a little realism in my escape stories! LOL Thanks for a great review. It might be something a young teenager would enjoy more.

I like the book's premise and I don't mind the steamy scenes at all. But I do have a problem with "perfect" characters. I struggle to connect with a character when they flawless.

Parts of the story sound really good, other parts not so much. I’m on the fence with this romance.

I’m not always interested in books where the girl has to wait for her knight in shining armor. I think Seryna is an interesting girl.

Great review!

Should one face the truth with the same level of courage when something you hold in highest esteem is at risk? This is an interesting topic to explore. I'd want to read this, and see how and which characters experience this situation in the book. However, I'm appalled by the expectation of interacting with a not-so-real character in a book. Will see if I may finish reading it.

This book maybe outside my genre, but the premise and the characters' conflicts sound intriguing. As the reviewer stated, this is more than just your average love story, and I think people who are into romance that are looking for a breath of fresh air should check this book out.

I'm not a fan of romance novels, so I won't be diving into this book anytime soon. But I wish the author the best of luck in finding an appreciative audience.

I don't think I'll be reading this one. A good plot can make up for a lot of sins, but this is too much. Normalizing sexual assault is a no go.

I am a big fan of romance. This book is right up my alley in that regard. The official review, however, off-put me a bit. I detest stories that romanticize non-consensual relationships. If someone is drunk, they cannot consent. Since, this a free book, I know that I will eventually read it, but I will look out for any views I don't support. Thank you for this revealing review.

While I always love a good well-written romance, I don’t really see that with this one. I’m expecting a damsel in distress protagonist whose life changes upon meeting this irresistible flawless human being, who is somehow impossibly good looking while also having the most perfect personality. I could be wrong, but that’s the feeling I’m getting! I don’t think I’ll be giving this a read, although it can be exciting to read clichés from time to time no matter how much love to criticise them, haha. Great review though!
