Lily's story is told skillfully with well-developed characters with strong personalities. The story is a Christian, historical fiction with romance and themes of forgiveness and trust. Lily stepped out of her comfort zone and found great strength in helping others and in turn she started healing both emotionally and spiritually. I love the review. Great job!

This one is a good detailed review. I am glad there were no spoilers in this review. Its really a heart wrenching story. Lily' struggles are kind of relatable for me. I'll definitely recommend this book.

Lily's story sounds so heartbreaking. She must have been devastated to lose her mother at such a young age. Her father sold her to her abusive husband not long after. It must have felt so agonizing and humiliating. I would like to know her story. Congratulations on BOTD!

Though it seems difficult to love again considering what Lily went through she can still find true love. I enjoyed reading the review. Thanks.

This book seems to present some strong themes: arranged marriages, abusive husbands, widowed and alone, etc. I was happy to see this book got a 4 out of 4. This one looks like a winner. Thanks for the excellent review!

This was a detailed and we'll written review. It highlighted the point that when we can reach out to serve others which the main protagonist did, then can we completely heal ourselves. The book talks not only about Christian values but the importance of being spiritual. I would definitely check this one out.

The story sounds enlightening. I am glad Lilly was finally freed and found healing through helping others. I hope the people who are after her late husband won't cause much trouble.

The challenges young ladies face in marriage are mostly as a result of pauper. Imagine marrying someone you barely even know and the person maltreats you because of your status, that is a enough to make someone unfit into the society. The book did a great job in expressing challenges in today's marriages. Congratulations to BOTD.

Such a great review! I was moved by Lily' s fate with her abusive husband. She was forced to marry him as atonement for her father' s debt then her seven years of suffering with Levi did not give her any return because the evil Levi did not leave her anything but wrath from those he wronged. I want to read this book to see how Lily found healing from all of the cruel things she experienced! Congrats BOTD!

When I read the sample, I immediately started to wonder if Lily had anything to do with her husband's death. Levi definitely does not seem like a great husband, so I would not blame her if this was the case. This book seems to have an intriguing plot. Thanks for the review! :)

I like books with strong female protagonists. Lilly seems to be on a journey of self-discovery after losing her mother and being forced into a marriage with a man who mistreated her for seven years. I'll add the book to my reading list. Thanks for a great review!
