Wow... I mean Fifty Shades of Grey meet's Silence of the Lambs!? I would honestly read the book it it was more well thought out.

I actually want to comment on the e-book and the rise of the 'Grammar Mistake Tsunami'. I'm an amateur writer and as the author, I have written to kill time and as a hobby, though my circumstances are not as bad as the authors. I will flat out admit, my English isn't perfect. Grammar mistakes, a fiddling of character names for example Mark to Mike and more. All that has happened and happens to me, and in the process of writing I thought this is really good stuff. I visited some self publishing sites and even thought about reformatting my work for kindle. :eusa-violin:

Out of the blue I downloaded a free book, checking out the market as I put it. It was beautifully written and edited, and after taking another look at my work I decided it was bad... no need to compare it with anything. If the reader isn't going to enjoy then that's the end of the argument, even if it might be slightly better than this work or maybe not. :eusa-think:

Despite not being entitled in anyway to comment, I feel like it is my duty as a fellow reader to say it.

If you pick up writing as a hobby and think there is a chance that your work is good enough to be published and monetized then go ahead. Just before getting on that high horse share your work with someone, a colleague, stranger or anyone. Worried about you work being stolen? Stephen King stated in a lecture that he was and is used to being told that his work is bad.

The bottom line, one cannot be a dynamic entity in the field of writing and publishing if he treats it as a hobby. Yes, the author might have been inspired from fifty shades of grey. But if you write in 'little' free time you have then you need a really good editor if you want your efforts to bring fruits.

Just think about it, a cross-over of FSoG and Silence of the lambs... if there is enough psychology, drama and angst I would definitely buy the book. Just fussing out on a book that could have been good but turned out as garble.
