^ I loved this bit! It caused me to be really inspired by her character even though I haven't read the book yet.Kira was a strong, clever and loyal character. She wouldn’t think twice before protecting the island or its people, even if it could put her in danger.

This isn't really my genre, but I enjoyed your in-depth review

What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

I liked the book and I hope you do too! Thank you for your comments!lydialeigh71 wrote:Awesome review! You had my attention when you stated the book had strong characters and well-written plot. Sounds amazing and cannot wait to read this page-turner. Reminds me of a Pocahontas and John Smith love story. The setting of the 1800s intrigues me and increases my desire to dive into the pages.
