I understand your points about the shift in narrative, the repetitive words and the grammatical errors. I am glad that you liked the book overall though. Congrats to the author on the 3/4 rating.

Joe literally needs a FAN PAGE! This book taught me about relationship commitment was not built by getting used to each other for such a long time. But it is supposed to be build with 100% honesty, perseverence, understanding on each other likes and dislikes, and also tolerating to each other. This author is really superb in making me picturing Alex & Joe kindle relationship in real life😅

I thought I wouldn't like this book because of the first two pages of the stereotypical conversation between two main girls. But after weathering that, it was great! It's all the cliches I love. Adorable, funky, moments full of squeal-worthy moments from the third page till the end of the sample. I'm going to buy this one!

Sounds like a half-decent book if you're into romance fiction. Not for me, but thanks for a great review!

Marriage disruptions is a too common theme that I have seen in romance. Since I am not very fond of the genre, I will pass on this one. Anyway, congratulations on being BOTD

Highway to love seems to be quite interesting. Am actually trying to think what decision will Alexis take. Will she choose love or passion?

Highway to love by Dani Burke

Interesting read. I think it started off slowly but before long I found myself really captivated by the characters (Steph, Alex, Mike and Joe). Dani does a good job making you empathize with the characters of her novel. My heart goes out to Steph. I wonder what happens to her by the end of the story.

A romance novel that follows the lives of Alexis and her friend, Stephanie, as well as that of Joe and his friend sounds like a nice read. However, I'm not a fan of romance books and pass on this one. Otherwise thanks for the review.

I don't know if I will like Alexis's character but the story seems to be engaging. The complications in a relationship and how they will be handled will be quite intriguing to read. Great review.

To be honest - I just don't know what to say about this book. It's not that I don't think plot is not sound, but I don't believe there might be many original ideas in romance genre, considering how much stories are already written about love.

What a great review. I love the fact that you use the word wordsmith and your review and admire their professional attitude you had ball giving the review. I think I will read this book, you made it sound so good. I also like win books let each coward to tell their own story as you said they do with the inner monologue. Thanks for the great review! :tiphat:

Sounds like an interesting book about the challenges that come with being in a relationship that is less than ideal. I wonder what Alexis will do? It is too bad about the errors. Thanks for the lovely review!

Sounds a well-written, captivating romance novel! I am glad you enjoyed it so much, but I don't think it is for me as I am not a fan of love triangles. Plus, I don't like the character of Alexis, but I am glad the other characters are imperfect. It is a pity about the editing issues, though. Thank you for the detailed review!
