The Selection was a very good book to read. I remember it like if it was teaching me to stand up for myself and speak out, to not be afraid of whats in front of me.

I like that this is kind of a futuristic series. It is interesting to see what different authors think will happen in the future. The Selection made me think about the Hunger Games a little bit because of the social climes and the rebellions. I wonder if the next books will remain mostly love story or if it will go towards social revolution - the way that the Hunger Games series did. I am definitely reading the next books though. I really like the author's writing style, and her characters feel real.
