It's great to see a story that combines love, mystery and humor in such a way as this one. Thank you for your thorough review.

I'm not into romance books, but good job on the review. It was interesting to read the 4 different reviews and see the views of each person.

From your review, it sounds like the character of Kira, a strong woman and guardian of her isle, was well done. Not being a big romance fan myself, the minimal treatment of the romance probably will make the book even more enjoyable for me. So often, publishers feel the need to categorize a book and just label it with whatever works. Glad to see that they didn't make it "conform" to a romance or mystery and just let it be what it was (something inbetween). Nice review.

Thank you for the review! The book seems like I would like it, even though as you said the relationship wasn't very original but it was good anyways, overall it looks interesting Im going to buy this one next time I have money to do so...

I like the prestigious review on Guardian of Paradise by W.E. Lawrence because of the fine romance it is. The setting is beautiful based on a "Paradise Island". I love the extensive review, and the fact that it wasn't a spoiler. I cannot wait to read this cover to cover.
