Monica McCarthy seals the deal for me. Her highlander Guard romance novels make my toes curl. By far my favorite series.

I have to add one to my list. The Prince in the book "The Raven" by Sylvain Reynard. He's a vampire and he's diabolical but he's got it going on. He hooks up with a disabled, chunky chick and makes her feel like a queen. Some of the things he said to her just hit me right smack in the heart.

I lilt Terry Spear's and Jennifer Ashley's Alpha males . They're all paranormal romances and the characters are different , like you can read some authors stories and it's like the same man with different names and different partners so I really like the directions they go with their books !

Still in the Sylvain Reynard world here. I read The Raven and loved the vampire. Then I read The Prince which was still about the vampire and the prequel to The Raven. Then I read Gabriel's Inferno, Gabriel's Rapture and am now reading Gabriel's Redemption.

I have to add Gabriel Emerson to the short list. He's got some vulnerabilities that he's working on but there's no doubt in my mind that he is by far, the smartest alpha I've ever read. I love this guy.

I do wish I'd read the books in order, though. I did read the Gabriel's Inferno series in order but I wish I hadn't read The Raven before Gabriel's Inferno series and I wish I'd read The Prince before I read The Raven.

The Raven was the first Sylvain Reynard book I'd ever read and Gabriel was in it. I just didn't know him and after that, I wanted to know him. I wanted to see what made him tick and I wanted to know if he was as bad as the vampire thought he was. Enter Gabriel's Inferno. I've been hooked ever since.

That vampire in The Raven, William York is his name, is a pretty good alpha, too. ;)

Any one of the Aurora Rose Reynold's men from the Until Series, or Harper Sloan's Corps Security. Then I can't leave out Katy Evan's Remy or Jamie McGuire's Travis.

This is a tough call, but the love of reading life at the moment is Trey Coleman from Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright. The guy isn't just dominant, he is closer to crazy than sane, and very, very sexy about it. Although I have to admit, Maya Banks does it sexy and so does Allyson James along with Lolita Lopez. Lopez's "Saved by Venom" is definitely one of my top ten's.

I can only pick one? Lol.

It's difficult for me to just pick one alpha out of so many out there, but I particularly enjoy Shelly Laurenston's books and all the alpha males she has in them. They are all mostly paranormal romances but the shifters are all different. There are wolves, bears, tigers, and more. Those males make me howl *wink*

Nykyrian Quikiades from "Born of Night" by Sherrilyn Kenyon is my favorite alpha by far! He is a sexy, hunky assassin who has a deeply hidden need for love! Even though all the books in this series have a bunch of hunky alpha male magnetism going on Nykyrian still tops my list!

I recently read Setta Jay's Divine Ecstasy and loved Hades. But any other day, I would always respond with "Any Kristen Ashley Alpha".

I'm casting another vote for William York, in Florentine series by Sylvain Reynard. :)
