A heart throbbing love story for sure. This book I would say is the best book to jump into if you're wanting a good genuine love story book. This book will bring you through a roller coaster of happy, and sad tears. The way the story is based on a narrating perspective makes the book even more fun. The suspending feeling of the younger girls mother not being okay with them together, and then they meet each other again when they are older is so uplifting. The story is based on the elderly man now telling the story of how he met his wife, writing the couple’s story in a notebook and reading sections to his wife everyday just so she will remember it at least once everyday, who is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's. I have also watched the movie version of this and i bawl every time. Its a beautiful story. I recommend this book to any love story, heart throbbing loving person like myself. 4/5 review for sure.

I love all of Nicholas Sparks' books, and The Notebook is not an exception. I love that love has proven to be so powerful that it bested time and sickness. And despite forgetting everything, the love remained.

I love all Nicolas Sparks books but this one is my all time favorite, maybe because it was my first. The. I went back and greedily read all the other ones and I have continued on. This is the kind of love little girls dream of. A love that stands the test of time. He is just a beautiful writer.

This book is a true beauty. Who doesn’t know about The Notebook? And I love how the movie brought it to life. I’m usually not a tear jerker but this book has me in tears. Nicolas Sparks truly knows how love, true love, will always find it’s way back to you. Love always wins!

I thought that “The Notebook” was a very good book, I read it all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only problem is that it’s this widely popular book around the world right? It made me assume it was going to be this amazing story, but honestly it was kind of boring at times. Again, I liked it and everything, but since it was talked about so much especially on social media, it was just hyped up way too much because it made me expect more.

I first saw the movie before I got to read the book. “The Notebook” is definitely one of my favorite films of all time, but I found the book kind of boring at some points. Of course, I still really like the story Nicolas Sparks presents: an old man telling his wife (who now has Alzheimer’s) the story of how they years ago fell in love. It’s heartbreaking and very moving. If you’re into romantic novels or looking for a good cry, it’s definitely the choice you’re looking for.

I had heard about the book long before I got down to reading it. A lot of my friends and family told me it was an amazing book and I should give it a read. For me personally, I avoid reading books that are tragic and I wouldn’t have read it if my best friend hadn’t forced me to. It was the best thing she ever forced me into. The love between the couple is just beautiful. The way the husband day after day tries to remind his wife about their love story without loosing heart at not receiving the kind of response he wanted, was so precious and beautiful. I would suggest everyone to read it once in life, it would definitely make you believe in eternal love.

Nicholas Spark's movies are indeed touching. They absorb you from reality and put you into the magic of love. This movie is one of his bests movies. Interestingly, the issues he tries to bring up in the film are very much contemporary. In this particular movie, he chose to emphasize the perception of the difference between poor and rich people. Allie's family is pretty wealthy, so they can't stand seeing her daughter dating the guy whom they consider "lower in the ranking of life." However, love defeats all the obstacles, and no matter how much they tried to come between these two characters, their love won in the end. The love story of the characters makes you believe in love though it's hard to believe that this kind of love can be found in real life. The plot is gripping. I did enjoy my reading.
