Hi, the Charley Davidson series is by Darynda Jones. Its a great read because of the suspenseful crimes, supernatural twist, and not to mention erotic moments that are placed throughout the whole book. "The First Grave on the Right" is the first book in this series which is basically about Charlie Davidson, a female detective who solves crimes related to supernatural clients (or ghosts) that are stuck on earth because of their murder. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that she's also the Grim Reaper so she can see spirits, talk to them, touch them, and help them pass over to the other side. Then there's her sexy supernatural bad boy friend Reyes who protects her from the shadows and also happens to be the son of Satan. He's in love with her and tries to keep her butt out of trouble while she solves crimes.
Overall this series is full of mystery/crime, supernatural, erotic moments, and humor. I hope you give either the book or series a try it has 13 books total with a couple of side stories as well.
