I know this is a throwback but has anyone read Belinda? It was published by Rice back in 1986. I got my hand on a copy and was completely engrossed by it. I did not know it was an Ann Rice book because it was published under her pin name Anne Rampling.

If you have not had a chance to read this book I would recommend it, but be warned she does cross some moral boundaries.

Is this similar to the Beauty series?

It's been a long time since I've read it, but I remember it being amazing. It's not like the Beauty series. Very sensual, a little taboo with Belinda being so young and all. I think I'll have to read it again...

I have read so many of her books and was hooked on all of them. She is an amazing author and I will admit she does like to push the boundaries on morals, but I think that is what makes her books sooo good!!

Yes, Anne does love to push those boundaries! The book is totally engrossing and will hook you in but it's always been that one book for that left a weird taste in my mouth. It's hard to praise it and recommend it to people because it is such a taboo topic and I come from a very close minded, small community. Still... I stock a copy on my shelves at my bookstore and I've directed more than a few people towards it.
