It is a rare occurrence to find real love as an older adult. More often than not, people tend to stop believing in love even before they get to their forties due to horrible experiences. However, have you ever stopped to wonder what would happen if we continue to give love a chance? This life-changing book by Belle Chisholm opens our minds to the possibility of finding true love regardless of age and location.

Valerie and Daniel met in the army, and they fell in love in their forties. However, their love seemed to be improper since they were both married. After their separation, they moved on with their lives. Twenty years later, Val is writing a book based on her experience in the army; she searches for Daniel online and realizes that he is dead; she decides to pay her last respect to him. As fate would have it, she meets Daniel at the cemetery and learns that the dead man is his son. Still in love with each other and divorced from their previous partners, Val and Daniel decide to give their love a chance. Reconciliation isn't easy for the sixty-year-old partners as they face troubles from their families and their past. Will the love that has stood the test of twenty years withstand other trials surrounding their marriage? Or will both parties realize that they are too old to be in a real relationship? You'd have to read this captivating romance novel to find out.

After reading this book, I would recommend it to almost anyone, especially lovers of romance and people seeking true love. I wouldn't recommend it to people who get turned off by errors.

In the course of reading this book, I discovered some aspects which I felt could be worked on. The book contained many errors, and it wasn't very encouraging for me. The book was not professionally edited and should be edited appropriately. With the way the book was arranged, I found it challenging to decipher which character was talking at various points in the book, and the only thing that managed to keep me going was the urge to witness the happy ending I craved so much for. I could not find the suspense that keeps a reader immersed in a book; the surprises and revelations in the book were not appealing to me. I found the book a little boring at some point.

However, the positive aspects of this book largely influenced my rating of the book. Forever My Love receives a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. I deducted one star from my rating because I found a lot of errors in this book. Nonetheless, I found hope in true love while reading this book. It was unbelievable that love between a man and a woman could survive twenty years without communication between the parties involved. I felt that if that was possible, then anything was possible with love. I also discovered the extent to which people are willing to go for those they truly love. I watched Val and Daniel go through difficulties upon their reunion, yet I followed their journey, hoping that they indeed find true love. Nevertheless, I was against the fact that they were both cheating on their partners while in the army. This book also discusses the impact of parental guidance in a child's life. This was seen in the relationship between Janelle and Danielle.

I believe that after examining the positive and negative points which I have stated above, you would agree that my rating of the book is appropriately justified. Although some areas should be worked on, the book has a fantastic storyline, and I recommend that you read it too.

I have not read any romance novel about older adults, as you put it. It should make for an interesting read. 20 years is a pretty long time, and I wonder if they held on on to each other (even just in memory or at heart), and if this was part of the reason they divorced their former partners. Thank you for the review!

True love does exist and you've depicted that in this phenomenal review that makes me want to read this book. Old romance is not something I usually go for but will try after reading your review. You did well, thank you.

I think love is a beautiful thing that can happen to anyone at anytime, regardless of the age and status, but I didn't expect it to be strong at 60. Valerie and Daniel's love is quite an awkward one. Nice job on the review.

It's really nice to see a new narrative on love stories and romance fiction books. Can't wait to read and see how older peoples love feel like.
