A Study in Seduction is a sweet and charming historical romance. Lydia is a surprising heroine, with her mathematical mind and her passion for numbers. Her secret is easy to predict, but makes for a heart – stopping climax and great foreshadowing. Alexander has his own secrets that are harder to predict, and make the perfect vulnerable, yet confident hero. Nina Rowan writes steamy love scenes that don’t take away from the overall story, or characters’ personalities. Lydia and Alexander want what is best for their families and this theme is carried throughout the story. The villain is underhanded and sneaky and he will make a readers skin crawl, which really is the best kind of villain. The supporting characters are witty and appealing and really bring out the true qualities of Alexander and Lydia. Regency fans will, beyond a doubt, enjoy A Study in Seduction.

Summary:
Alexander Hall, Viscount Northwood, has purchased a unique locket from a pawnshop, not knowing the value it has for its owner, Lydia Kellaway. When Lydia shows up at his doorstep asking for the locket, Alexander should just hand it over, but he is too tempted by the mathematical mind of Lydia, and her boldness, to give her the locket so easily. He and Lydia make a bargain, and what starts out as lighthearted turns to passion as their attraction grows. But when dark family secrets come forth about both Alexander and Lydia, those secrets might pull them apart forever.

Thanks for the review, LeeErin! :) That wasn't what I expected from the title. But anyway, the story sounds promising. Bookmarked on Goodreads!
