How do you review a book that is very short and leaves you hanging in the middle of an important scene?! Would you think the author is very smart to ensure that you wait for the next installment?! These were the thoughts that were running in the mind the moment I finished this book.

This book's Genre is Fantasy Romance. It is not appropriate for young adults due to considerable sexual contents. It is the first installment of a series called Zidreel. It is a Third-person narrative. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

Sergeant Major Mathews and his unit were on a mission. During a HALO jump they were attacked by a blinding flash light, and the next thing he knew when he woke up is that; he and Corporal Kyle Richards were in a forest, one of his men was missing and the other was unfortunately dead. Not only must he search for the missing man, he also must survive this foreign planet and fight its horrifying creatures, and of course find a way back to earth. Easy as pie!.

I finished this book in one sitting, literally!. And that was because I am a fast reader and this is the shortest book I have ever come across, it's literally less than 45 pages. I have never read a book that was very short and very exciting at the same time. This book absorbed me from start to finish.

I liked the writing style of the author, it was easy to follow through and interesting in a very suspenseful way. The start (which is the most important part of a book in my opinion) attracted my attention and made me excited enough to continue. Usually good writers put some culture and background or history in any fantasy book to help the reader imagine their world, the test is how much and where they are displayed. Well, I must praise the author on writing the placement and quantity of history and culture perfectly. They flowed through the scenes smoothly.

And since the book was very short, it was difficult to judge the pace, but I could say she was on the right track. I didn’t notice any grammatical errors, which is always a plus point for the author. Again the book was too short to judge on its characters' developments, but since it was too enjoyable, I didn’t really see a problem.

I always love a book filled with action, suspense and romance. And this book didn’t disappoint at all. What could be considered an only drawback for me; is that the author introduced too many characters and new places all almost at once, so of course this caused major confusion to me but not enough to disturb my happy reading.

I would have liked this story to be longer, just a normal length, maybe from 200 to 300 pages or something, just to enjoy the story more and get sucked into their world a little longer. But its OK, I'm definitely waiting for the next book. I truly believe that the author possesses a great talent in writing. I totally encourage her to continue writing. And I look forward to reading from her again.
