This is a short, steamy little book about two cowboys. It's a sequel. I didn't read the first book, but I didn't feel lost jumping into the second book. I like how it alternates between Jake and Ben's perspectives. I also like how the story was painted--the descriptions were clear and realistic. I could see the story unfolding in my mind. Even though it's not the type of book or subject matter I usually read, it was well-written and interesting.

I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in a Western with very graphic intimate scenes. I think the book will have a limited audience--mostly gay men and this demographic of women I read about once who are very interested in male gay romance. But, I think that that limited audience will enjoy the book very much!

I am for some reason, one of those women that are in that demographic, haha. Anyway, when you say short, do you mean short story, like less then 200 pages? Also, I'm sure that I could jump right in and understand whats going on, but I would prefer to read the first book first. Do you know what the first book is called? And is the authors name only 'Zavo' or does he/she have a fuller name that I could look up? Please get back to me, thank you.

That's ok! I read all sorts of stuff, so I probably qualify as one of the demographic as well, haha! I read the e-book, so I don't know exactly how many pages it was, but it took me just a few hours to read, so I would guess it was probably less than 200 pages. The first book was called Hot on His Trail. The author just goes by Zavo. As far as I can tell, he does not use a last name. The publisher is Bold Strokes Books, and you can get the book directly from their website if you're interested.

Thanks for getting back to me. I think that its interesting that the author only uses one name, but I don't know if I will read the book or not because I don't personally like to read short stories. But it is something I wouldn't mind to read in between books, if that makes since, haha. Thank you.
