I am a fan of Nicholas Sparks for the most part. Some of his books are quite cheesy for me and I can't read those ones but other than that he really knows how to please his audience. The Choice is a tad cheesy but it is still a refreshing, feel good, love story that is worth a read. Not my favorite book of his because the characters in this book just have too perfect of lives and problems that are overreacted but it is still a book where you wish you were the girl and had that boy

. It was a little slow and stupid in the beginning so just get past that and then its a sweet book if you are a fan of romance stories.

I'm kind of looking forward to reading it, actually. A bit of romance always makes my day. What can I say, I'm hooked

I have to agree the characters lives where way to perfect. But I am totally a fan of Nicholas Sparks, but this is one of the cheesy ones that I couldn't get into. I did finish the book as I don't usually start reading a book then just stop. So give the book a 3/5

I have been reading this book for almost a week now, and find it very different writing of Nicholas Sparks than his other famous titles--it actually took me 2 nights to get into the book because the narratives almost sounded childish....I am hoping to get "into it" more as I am in the middle of the book--very discouraged so far.

Who hasn't fell in love with a Nicholas Sparks book. They are definately clean romance novels. There is always a good ending but in some of his novels there is usually a sad part. That jerks the tears to my eyes. Because well I love a good romance novel. If you do as well, then this is a must read for you.

I have yet to read this book. It seems from everyone's reviews that it's not as great as his other titles.

I love Nicholas Sparks, and have read some of his books multiple times. I was very excited for this book to come out. While it definitley wasn't as good as some of his pervious books, I did enjoy it. Although a lot of the book seemed a bit repeated from other books.

This wasn't one of my favorites by Sparks as it was more predictable than normal. Sparks is usually somewhat predictable but in this one, it was too much. I'm starting to think his time has come to stop, nothing new coming out in his writing.

I have never enjoyed Nicholas Sparks (books or films) but I keep giving it a chance because everyone raves about them and I just don't know what I'm missing. I've been on the fence about this one, but maybe I'll check it out just because.

This was the first book I read by Nicholas Sparks and I just finished it. To be honest I saw the movie first when it was in theaters, the first movie I saw of his books that is too. Loved the movie, then again it didn't hurt my favorite actor, Ben Walker was in it lol. Like I said, I never read any of his other books before, but this one I really did like. I liked how it wasn't all overdone with the romance and that there were problems with the relationship, like a real one. And it also showed how far one will go when it comes to true love.

This was one of my favorite Sparks books. His story lines do tend to repeat with slight variations, but at least he's consistent. You pretty much know what you are getting with him. I like that the lives, while they may appear perfect or have overblown issues, do relate to life. In life we all have seemingly perfect moments. We also tend to have minor problems that we tend to blow completely out of proportion. I believe this is what brings people to him, because the stories can be believable & relatable. He's also really great for a good cry, which I always do by the end. I am not a fan of the movies, which seem to me to stray from the books.

I agree, this is not one of my favorites. There are some that are cheesy and predictable and this was just that. I have not even watched the movie.

Fan of Sparks! I have read many of his books. Reading all the above reviews I am looking forward to read it. I hope even 'The Choice' give resemblance to some real characters and story from this universe
