50 Shades of Grey by E L James is an erotic fiction novel written about Anastasia Steele, a timid, college student virgin, and Christian Grey, a not-so-virgin, at all, business tycoon. Grey sweeps her up into his magical world of sexual domination leaving her clueless as to what to do with the issue facing her, should she stay or should she go?

I recently read this novel because I was forced to read it by my boyfriend, go figure right? At first I thought that I would certainly enjoy the book considering how popular it was, I mean this has to e a good author right? Wrong. At the time of reading the novel I didn't realize the background behind the making of it. Twilight fan fiction? Go figure..

When it all boils down to it this could have been a good idea for a book but just lacked a better writer. The author used big words that the public eye wouldn't comprehend but at the same time the writing seemed so immature. It was as if the writer was just trying seem smarter by using those mile long words that no average person knows.

I do not see why people raved about this novel so much when there are definitely more, better erotic novels out there to choose from. I could not even get through to the 2nd chapter of the 2nd book in the trilogy because it seemed to just drag on in both of their depressing slumps.
