Official Review: Spirit Fall

Post by maryakusiak »

Tessa McFionn's book is an adventure of the senses. It is a thrilling book to read about the supernatural and a love marriage in the making. Kai and Siobhan are the main characters and the arch of their character development is at a really good place. I enjoy how the characters are being developed in a rhythm that is conducive to the storyline. While the language is adult and sometimes graphic I believe that high school grades and older are the appropriate age for this book depending on the person.
The main storyline flows smoothly and the progression of the romance flows at a steady place. The scenes are erotic enough to draw in the reader and the words are sweetly written to entice the reader to build the romance with the storyline.
There are battles scenes although not graphic. Konstantin is an evil character although I see them more as tortured souls. The writing is clear and although there are some grammatical errors the story is grammatically correct.
I like the tone and rhythm of the book as it captivates the reader and draws the reader into the live story of Siobhan and Kai and I really did not find anything wrong with the book.
I rate this book four out of four stars because I like these romantic books and I thought about giving it a three because of the graphic language although the book is advertised as an erotic romance novel so the book deserves a four for delivering a good story line and appropriate marketing.
I believe this book is appealing to young adults and women and wives that enjoy a good naughty romance. This is a good book to read while traveling and while curling up in a large bed. " Her hazel eyes peered into his very soul, and he knew it was more than chance that had brought her across his path tonight."
