This was the first 'adult romance' book and having found it again in a thrift store I picked it up for nostalgia. As a grown up ten years later it still captured my attention but maybe nit for the same reasons that it did my sixteen year old imagination. Regardless despite some if the things that happen between the two leads that in this day and age would land the male lead in a jail cell I still find my self starting to root for them.

"Shanna" by Kathleen E Woodwiss was my first romance novel when I was a teenager and I have read all her books. She is one of my favorite authors and I reread her book all the time. The Wolf and the Dove was really good as well!
