November 9 by Colleen Hoover

The latest book by Colleen Hoover was a roller coaster of emotions, but there is nothing new about that. November 9 revolves around the lives of Fallon, a girl who's survived a fire accident and Benton James Kessler, a writer who falls in love with this girl with insecurity and scars and who is moving to New York the very day they meet. The two of them decide to meet every year on the same day in the same place.
Now as much as I loved the book, there is this one thing that did bother me. Over the course of the book, we barely witness 6 days in the lives of Ben and Fallon and the quick pace of their relationship somehow feels unrealistic. But despite this little glitch, it is only Colleen who could pull off a story like this and make us cry and laugh the entire time. And boy the twist in the end, I no way anticipated that.
If you're a romance reader and love books with emotional bumps but a happy ending, I believe Colleen Hoover is the author for you and November 9 the book.

I have read other books by Colleen Hoover but haven't picked up this one yet. It sounds like a promising read. Thank you for the review of the book. With so many wonderful authors it can be hard to keep up with all the new releases and often good ones slip through the cracks. I will be adding this to my TBR shelf.

I loved this book. It is not the best work she has ever done, but it was still a great emotional roller coaster.

Although I haven't read this book, I am looking forward to it. I've read that she said it was an emotional write.

I read the majority of the book thinking how cliché it was BUT, it turned out far different than I expected. It would have been interesting to learn more about how Fallon spent the other 364 days every year, but I think that might have made the book too long. It was a sweet romantic read.

I have heard of her and I have probably read one of her books before. If I have it's been a long time. I will keep this one in mind. Thanks for the review.

I have to say that I love Colleen Hoover and I did enjoy this book but I kept thinking that I have heard this story before. Wasn't there a book or a movie with the same concept before?

I personally LOVE all of Colleen's books! One of my favorites is November 9, the other on is Maybe Someday. She is just an amazing author and I love the fact that you can always expect some plot twists in her stories. Anyone who had read It ends with is?
