Rule: Jay Crownover

Post by DonChelle »

Oh my. What can I say about Rule? Rule is the perfect bad boy that every girls dreams about. Black sheep of the family, always hiding in the shadow of his twin. Rule makes his own rules, lives life how he wants and does things the way he wants.

Shaw is the perfect people pleaser. Too scared to let her hair down and follow her own path in life. Best friends with Rule's twin brother, Shaw has always admired Rule from afar.

The book does take time and dedication to read. A story like Rule & Shaw's can't be skipped through. If you are patient enough to get to the end and are dying for more, don't worry Jay Crownover has created a team at the Marked Tattoo Shop to melt over.

Rule and Shaw is the perfect Cinderella story. All it takes is the right outfit for a boy to find his Princess or his bad girl.

My conclusion: Well worth the read but a bit time consuming.

Rule is the first book to read in order to appreciate the author. I've read all her books, Marked Men, Welcome to the Point, and Saints of Denver. Among these, Rule is still my favorite. He's the ultimate book boyfriend. It's the book to read on that cold night with your coffee/tea on your favorite comfy chair.

I loved this book!! The entire Marked Men series was phenomenal, each one getting better and better, but Rule will always be my favorite; it's the only one out of all 6 that I read twice (though Rome might be next). Jay Crownover is a phenomenal writer who knows how to make each character unique and memorable, leaving you begging for their story to be told while giving you some satisfaction by letting the previous characters stay in the series. I was very upset at first that there wasn't a Rule 2, but was happy he was still in Jet and soon got over it as I fell in love with Jet. Great book, great series, great author.

Rule is one of my favorite books ive read it atleast four times.its one of those books that you remember sudenly when your reading another book and you just have to go and read it one more time, but for me its never really just one more time. it's hard for me to find a book that I really love because I want specific trates in books. I want a character to act like this and things to happen like that. this book was everything I was looking for except a few things. I loved this book and I loved the characters. This book is definitely memorable Im looking forward to reading more of jay crownovers material.
