When Love Calls. This is the first book in the series and stars main character Hannah and her Three sisters. Her parents have passed away and they have to make it on there own. Here is my review of book one.
This book was exemplary! It talked about real life struggles of the historic life and what it takes to make a life worth living. To start off with the characters themselves were so realistic, they practically jumped off the pages into your life and dreams. Hannah's stubbornness and inability to follow rules was so easily relatable that you instantly felt in place with her. She is ahead of time, A time that unfortunately had very different expectations for genders. The interest between her two love interests intensifies as one tries to save the other. It ends as expected and greatly so. It really brings into focus the imagery of that time period and you can tell love and soul was poured into this book. She really took her time to make it something special.
