The Last Letter From Your Lover is a romance novel that won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award by the Romantic Novelists' Association. This story is about Ellie, a journalist who finds some old love letters from the 1960's. The author switches the storytelling between the past and the present. In the past, we read about the 2 lovers that wrote the letters and in the present we follow Ellie as she tries to find out who they belong to and how the love story ends.
Personally I gave this book 2 out of 4 stars. I found the plot predictable and the book unnecessarily long. This is the third book I've read by Jojo Moyes and I'm starting to wonder why she's been getting so much recognition. The only plus point of this book is that it is written a lot better than her other novels Me Before You and The Girl You Left Behind.
Has anyone else read this book? What are your opinions on it?
