Together Forever is a new age romance novel written by Jade Whitfield and is the second book in the Forever Love series. The novel is told in dual first person POV of Cindy Martin and Brady Cooper, who were once high school sweethearts that were madly in love. Brady, who is afraid of commitment, breaks Cindy's heart after dating for two years. Cindy, upset and confused, decides the best way to move on from Brady is to attend college in Los Angeles and break all ties with Brady and her small town in Franklin, Georgia.
Together Forever picks up six months after their break up with Brady regretting his choice to end things with Cindy - “I need to make it right, she needs to be where she belongs, with me. She needs to know I care, that I was wrong...” Luckily for Brady, Cindy has to return home for the summer and he sees this as his chance to make things right and be with the girl he loves. Brady decides to enlist his best friends, Tucker Jameson, Noah Travers, and Noah’s fiancé, Olivia Preston, to help him create a plan to win Cindy’s heart back. Cindy tries everything to protect her heart, from fleeing from coffee shops to avoiding Brady at all costs. But in small towns, where everyone knowns everyone, Brady and Cindy must contend with meddling parents, nosy friends, and a history that neither they nor their small town will let them forget.
I rated Together Forever 4 out of 4 stars. I love second chance romance novels and this book fits that theme perfectly. The writing was beautifully done, so the reader gets to feel the emotions of both POVs. Cindy is a woman who is still struggling to move on from the breakup while Brady is a desperate man who will do anything to win Cindy’s love. I feel the author was able to make both POVs unique, so it actually felt like being inside both characters mind. Along with the main characters, the friends and family also felt like they had depth and added to the story's emotions. I will admit that there were several grammatical and spelling errors, almost to the point that I would have gave it 3 stars; however, towards the end they became less and less distracting.
I would recommend Together Forever to fans of romance and second chance love. I fell in love with both of the characters and truly believed them to be soulmates. Both characters have flaws, which made them feel free. Fans who enjoy cheering on characters as they try to fall back in love and trust themselves, will love Together Forever. Fans will also enjoy that the first book in the series follows Noah and Olivia’s story and a third book is in the works for Tucker.
Together Forever is an amazing romance novel about second chances and learning to forgive. The characters are well developed and several scenes actually made me laugh out loud or cry with the characters. Fans who enjoy second chance love stories and romance novels will enjoy this book and will be as hooked as I am with the series.
