Eugenie Markham is a powerful shaman that banishes spirits and fey who come into the human world. But when she's tasked with saving a human girl from the fey world, Eugenie's world starts to crumble. She learns secrets about her past and also of a prophecy about her first born that will threaten the future of her world. Now Eugenie is a target for every power hungry fey and demon out there. She's surrounded by enemies, but the biggest threat of all may be the power inside her.

Storm Born is a very good book. There is a bunch of romance and sizzling moments in it. It's very entertaining and it goes at a nice pace. You wonder what is going to come next for every chapter. I love how Eugenie isn't a shy girl either. She's a badass female heroine with a great attitude. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fey or fantasy romance books.

I've read some of Richelle Mead's books, but haven't read this one yet. Looks interesting, though. Thanks for the recommendation!

Richelle Mead is one of my favorite authors. The Dark Swan series was amazing, as well as Vampire Academy and Bloodlines. I've also read the first Age of X book, and The Glittering Court is on my list to read soon. I have yet to be disappointed by Mead, although she has a habit of making me scream at her books.
