This story about the difficult high-school years of Alaina Meyers, her sister Angie and Alaina's friends Robert Holland and Sam, Sarah and a cast of many more. Follow them as they grow through the difficult years of their late teens. The love triangle and the problems that develop. Alaina better known to her friends as Lane has an accident while on the swim team. She also has someone who keeps putting (black roses) in front of her. Who this is well, you'll just have to read the story to find out. Well written and a pleasure to read. Friendships are tested. Attitudes are raised. Twists are turned. The author is a master storyteller and I can't wait for book number two. I say keep up the great work Anna J. Adams. Rated this one a solid five stars.
