The truth comes to the surface in this book Dorothy Lyle in Deception. Dorothy’s neighbor Horace Johnson has been hiding secrets for years and book number nine has lots of surprises for the readers of the Dorothy Lyle series. Ella Carmichael is truly a master storyteller and I have enjoyed all of her books in the series. I dearly love her characters. Each and everyone of them has a story within themselves. As the reader knows “Secrets don’t stay hidden and the walls have ears.” Her writing is some of the very best that I have read. Without exception. If you love a great story and appreciate characters who are so real that you think that they live next door. This series will be one that you will read over and over again. Ella Carmichael is one of my favorite authors. I feel sad when I think that there is only one more book to read in the series. I pray that she will be encouraged to write more excellent stories in the near future. I rated this book a solid 5 star rating and look forward to reading more of Ella Carmichael’s books in the days to come.
