Stalker by Clarissa Wild was a different type of romance read as I am not sure I would describe the relationship between the characters, Vanessa and Miles/Phoenix, as romantic in the classic sense of the word. It is erotic and violent, while the main characters share a distorted idea of love. The story itself was not complex with the focus being on revenge. I'd say the author's one strength is in her ability to describe emotion. Overall, I wasn't impressed and wouldn't recommend it.
