Review: Purple Orchids (The Mitchell Sisters #1)

Purple Orchids by Samantha Christy is the first book in the Mitchelle Sisters series. I am not positive on how many other books there will be, but Baylor has two sisters, so maybe three?
I finished this one this afternoon. It was a fairly quick read for me. According to Amazon there are 432 pages.
We first meet Gavin in a hotel bar, when a flyer for a book signing makes its way to him(fate maybe), the author being his ex girlfriend from college, eight years prior. It was the first time he has seen or heard from her since there break up.
He then takes us on a journey into the past, to the beginning and eventually the end of their relationship and we are brought back to present day. A bomb is dropped so to speak, but I won't spoil it for you. Gavin and Baylor are brought back together and let's just say that the drama wasn't left in college.
I really enjoyed this read. Would I read it again? Yes, there are some swoon worthy moments so I would of course re-read. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, I am recommend it to a friend? Yep, I am recommending it to you. Would I read more from this author? This is the first book I have read from Samantha Christy, but I will read more!
Can't wait to see what's up with Baylor's sister Skyler in the next book.
