The Sheikh’s American Daughter
By Kate Goldman

The main character of the story, Olivia Grant finds out that she has a father who is a sheikh named Habib Solomon. She goes over to spend some time with him. Only to find that she falls for the man named sheikh Joseph Boutros a close friend of the Solomon family. Although Joseph was an arrogant and vain he was easy to talk to and seemed to be a good listener. Olivia had brought her best friend Dana with her to visit her father. Olivia finds the females over in the middle east to not be friendly, in fact they were rude. The story centers around the arranged marriage of sheikh Joseph and one of the daughters of sheikh Habib Solomon. Which one will he choose to marry. This custom of those in the middle east is quite different than those here in the United States. The other custom that Olivia has a time with is calling them by the name sheikh Joseph rather than the first name. I found the story to be a great read and the relationship that developed between Olivia and her father sheikh Habib Solomon and his family. As Olivia finds out it is sometimes the choice that we make that can make all the difference in the outcome of life. What secrets are to be discovered… What choice will take place… sheikh Joseph had to be married by the time he was 30 as stipulated by his father in order to inherit his father’s business. Will he be able to choose one daughter to love forever? Find out by reading this novel of love and life changes. I rated this one 5 stars. Kate Goldman has the ability to weave a story around characters who bring their emotions to the table in The Sheikh’s American Daughter.
