The Professional was good, The Master was ok, but The Player was just, meh. I expected more out of the characters. The author didn't explore them at all like she did in the first two books of the series. I would have loved to hear more of Dmitri's story in a genuine way (especially after he rudely responded to his brother's wedding invitation at the end of the first book), but the author went with the bare minimum on this one. The main conflict in the book was resolved way too easily. The heroine's con artist story failed to interest me. There were quite a few steamy scenes but nothing unique. In my opinion, there are much better erotic romances to read.
