Regency Romance: The Music Of Love by Isabella Thorne

Post by Birdlady1950 »

STORY-LINE REGENCY ROMANCE: THE MUSIC OF LOVE:

In Regency Romance: The Music Of Love, we find Lady Amelia Atherton, darling of the ton and Commander Samuel Beresford, Royal Navy, butting heads and hearts. After dancing with the Commander, Amelia's intrigued, but knows he's beneath her. She, the darling of the ton, a diamond of the first water, can have any man she wants.

However when Samuel's brother's poisoned and Amelia father's killed, her world comes apart. No longer the darling of the ton, but the next bit of gossip and ward of her odious Uncle, the new Duke. She's convinced her father was murdered, Samuel's convinced someone's trying to kill his brother. Can these two join forces, discover the mysterious circumstances surrounding the misadventures and come out with hearts still free and intact? My reviews of romance novel, Regency Romance: The Music Of Love, follows.

CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, DEVELOPMENT:

Regency Romance: The Music of Love's played out in 4 separate books bundled together. I love reading from one story to the next without having to wait for the next release. With fast paced plotting and an intriguing story-line, Thorne enthralls the reader immediately. I found the pace smooth and steady as each book progresses smoothly without interruption or feeling disjointed. Thorne transitions her story smoothly from book to book.

Thorne developed the characters in this story progressively. I loved the fact Amelia stood up for herself and matures greatly by the end of book 4. Developing Samuel's characters, the reader finds a second son who does not wish to be in first place except in his fathers regard. Can a spoiled pampered socialite become a true diamond of the first water?

Thorne slowly built the romance between Samuel and Amelia allowing the reader to relax and enjoy the romance, disagreements, and mystery. I loved the descriptions of the dresses and gardens. How beautiful it must have been. The mystery's kept at high peak; Thorne does not reveal the plot until the last possible moment.

In concluding my reviews of romance novel, Regency Romance: The Music Of Love, I found a solid well-written story-line with well-developed characters. With mystery and romance, who wouldn't enjoy this book? I would not hesitate to buy this novel for my self or a friend. This is a clean easy to read romance suitable for anyone who enjoys regency romance novels.
