Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati

I came across Into the Wilderness online, and it is a truly interesting read. It is part historical fiction and part romance. I just concluded Part 1 of the series and despite the wordiness, I very much enjoyed it. For me, this book is reminiscent of the tv show, "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman," although the protagonist, Elizabeth, is a teacher instead of a doctor, and the book takes place in the late 1700s. I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy romantic historical fiction.
