"Pranksters of Love" by Thora Cunningham is a captivating novel that delves into the lives of two contrasting individuals, Emily and Daniel, whose paths intertwine in unexpected ways. Emily, a 26-year-old single mother to six-year-old Donna, is determined to pursue her studies, buoyed by her mother's unwavering support in caring for her daughter. Her character challenges societal norms, sparking passionate debates and controversial opinions. In contrast, Daniel is a journalism student guided by strict principles.

The two protagonists meet at the university and are thrust together as roommates on the university cruise following a prank. Despite their differing principles and opinions, they develop feelings for each other. However, their budding relationship takes an intriguing turn as paranormal forces come into play, throwing their fate into uncertainty. Why are these supernatural elements converging around them? How will the couple deal with the paranormal forces? Readers are encouraged to dive into the book to uncover the answers.

Cunningham skillfully weaves a plot filled with paranormal events, employing mystical symbols and supernatural forces to add depth to the story. The narrative is rife with twists and turns that keep readers engaged from start to finish. The characters are vividly portrayed, from the endearing Donna to Daniel's captivating grandmother, adding layers of complexity to the story.

Despite its strengths, the novel does have some shortcomings. One notable issue is the confusion that arises from having two protagonists, Emily and Daniel, whose voices are not always distinct. The ambiguity extends to conversations between Daniel and Jay, initially leading to misunderstandings about their relationship. Additionally, some readers may find the frequent, repetitive dialogues between Daniel and Emily to be excessive, potentially hindering the pacing of the story.

Overall, "Pranksters of Love" is a compelling read, deserving of a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. While it may have its flaws, such as pacing issues and occasional confusion in character interactions, its strong plot and well-developed characters make it a worthwhile read.

While I am not a real big fan of romance novels, according to your review, this seems to be something that I would enjoy reading. The confusion about the relationship and the paranormal events pique my curiosity. Thanks!

This seems to be a book with suspense. I hope the couples can deal with whatever forces they encounter.
