How would you feel if you discovered your most trusted friend or your employer was using you as a guinea pig? Is it possible to forgive and move on or would you change your employer? Let's brainstorm and also suggest another book you have read with a similar story and how it compares to this one.

Definitely, I would have to move on if the problem persists given that it will be hurting every time to think that you are being used. However, forgiving is possible.

It takes a very strong heart to forgive. Some actions leave indelible marks that serves as a constant reminder.

I think I would quit. Once I realized what was going on I would tell them "See ya." and never look back. That goes for employers and friends.

I think it would be incredibly hard to forgive, but not impossible. Also, forgiving is not the same as forgetting. Sometimes, it's best to forgive, but move on.

As for me, I would force that into my subconscious mind and move ahead. After all, for humanity, errors are part of the games we play.

It would definitely be traumatic.
I haven't read anything like this, most likely because I prefer the supernatural, paranormal romance novels. Most of the times those involve the villain using some sort of mind control on the victim so she is caught unawares.
