I've had poetry published multiple times, never saw a penny. Usually I got a contributor copy. The first time I actually got paid to write was here on Onlinebookclub. I have been working on a few novels, I have four written and am ready to have them edited by professionals, last step for publication, I hope. However, that takes money I don't have, so I am working to put enough aside to get at least one of them into print. How and when I get paid (Maybe that should be If and when) well that will depend on a few things. Not there yt.

Not at all but I would love to. Now, I just write to express myself.

I've been writing since I was a child and with lots of time, dedication, and writing "just for fun," I was able to turn my hobby into a business. A couple of years ago I started freelancing full-time and although it's challenging some days, leaving the corporate world was still the best decision I've ever made. I still write a lot just for myself with no dollar signs in mind because, for me, it's imperative that I still have a passion for my craft and not just the money.

I only write as a hobby. But I get paid to read as a reviewer! :D
