THE VAMPIRE DIARIES OR THE ORIGINALS

I, personally love the originals more. The story of how they formed and their not-so-great journey. The character placements were so on point. Yes, I do love vampire dairies as well but if I had to tell my goodbyes to one of them it would definitely be The Vampire Diaries. #TEAMMIKEALSONS

I think I will always be a fan of Vampire Diaries, probably because it was what I knew first! As a teenager this was one of the first series I became obsessed with. But I agree that the Originals has an excellent story line, and I enjoyed it as well!

Can I say both? The same irrational emotion-filled decision making process is experienced in both shows. There is also the undying loyalty to family and friendship. Don't forget the love triangles! Even though its mild, The Originals has a similar dramatic love triangle involving brothers as that of Vampire Diaries. Both shows were chillingly thrilling. I cant choose.
