I like books where I can enjoy the plot while learning more about the culture and people of a country. This book seems like one of them. I would love to find out the mystery behind the plague and explore Ethiopian culture.

Doctor Laura London is a physician who strongly believes in science and medicine anything to do with supernatural and superstition doesn't work for her or in other words she doesn't believe in it.

She visit Ethiopia, Africa to treat a plague that has be fallen the a community in the village , at night the villagers vanish and children are tightly tacked in bed to avoid any contact with the shape shifting werehyenas. Dr London doesn't still believe in this superstition until it happens to her ,when a dead body she has been working on rises and shape shifts to a werehyenas.

Dr London is the people hopes to find a cure. This African folklore has a very captivating and anticipating words that a reader longs for.

It's encouraging to see the positive impact of real-world examples and the effectiveness of practical insights. The book is reloaded with the journey insights of Dr. Clara from Ohio to Ethiopia whereby, the combination of medical mystery, cultural exploration, and political intrigue, is set inside an African backdrop. The author introduces the Tasfa culture in a beautiful way. The blend of medical mystery and a compassionate Dr Laura soothes the mind, when you realise that there are lots of people/places that do not have access to the best medical practices yet
