Dr. Laura is on a mission to find out the cause of the mysterious plague in Ethiopia. What secrets does Tasfa hold? The author blends themes such as culture, mystery, and politics. This seems like an engaging read.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book. I also liked the author's style of writing. I like books for younger readers and added it to my list of books to read. I liked the character development and how excited she was for her trip to Africa. I hope it all works out for her.

I think it's great that the author was able to effectively showcase the Ethiopian culture. I wonder what caused the plague. I'm very interested in this book's plot, and I enjoy medical mysteries, so I'll check it out.

I hope this book is going to explore the culture of Ethiopia on Laura's stay there. Whenever I come across a book that's filled with mystery then I'm all in. This task Laura is taking on is scary but she's ready to take on whoever or whatever is causing this plague. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

The story seems very interesting and educational. I'll be happy if the author has incorporated medical aspects of the plague. Moving from Ohio to Ethiopia isn't easy, but it certainly will be interesting, especially with her physician degree.

The way Clark describes the scenes in "The Hyena’s Stare" is nothing short of breathtaking. Each page is filled with vivid imagery that makes you feel as though you're walking alongside Dr. Laura in Ethiopia. The cultural details are so authentic and well-researched that it feels like a real journey through Tasfa.

When a book delves into adventure or discoveries, it immediately captures my attention. I love exploring new ideas and seeing the world through the author’s perspective. It's thrilling to connect with people’s roots from all over the globe through a book, making me feel like I’m part of the adventure. I hope Dr. Laura’s travels reveal new possibilities in the field of medicine and that her mission is a success. The review is impressive, and congratulations to the author on BOTD.

I am keen interested in cultural exploration, adventure & life lesson. By reading the review I would definitely give a try to this book. The blend of mystery & cultural diversity attracts me to read. Hyena's stare by Dr Laura must be good book & also there is Ethiopian culture described which is rare to find.

This seems different based on the review. I also find it more engaging because of mystery and cultural exploration. And the way story continues is also commendable.

Laura’s commitment to helping others, despite personal risks, mirrors the selflessness often found in dedicated doctors.
Life is a play where we are the actors and the audience, We laugh and cry, love and hate, create and destroy,
We seek to know ourselves and others, to belong and to be free, We accept what we can and change what we must.

Leaving a first world country to fight a plague in a third world country is a brave, selfless decision. A lot of the countries in Africa are still rich in wildlife and unspoilt nature. Your summary of the book makes me look forward to reading it, thank you!
