I'd love to read what Dr. Laura's challenges were and what inspired her resolve to remain committed to her cause-find the cause of the plague and coming up with ways of dealing with it. Thank you for the review.

The mix of medical intrigue and cultural insights into Tasfa sounds fascinating. I love books that not only tell a gripping story but also transport me to different parts of the world, and this novel seems to do just that.

This sounds like an interesting story featuring a strong female character; Dr. Laura London, a medical doctor who'll have to face evil werehyenas to save the cursed town and its people despite not having any special powers or magical destiny herself. Congrats on BOTD!
