A lot of teenagers struggle with identity crisis, John isn't alone. I'm glad he made a friend. Thanks for the review.

I can only imagine how hard it must have been for John. He reminds me of a girlish-boy we used to have in my class in primary school. Boys picked on him at the slightest opportunity. This book looks like a perfect YA story for kids and teens struggle with being victims of bullying.

I've always had a soft heart for transgender people. I laud the author for bringing out this issue boldly. Thanks for the nice review, my friend.

The pains and discomfort transgender people feel before their transition is often not understood by most people. This would be a nice read.

I'm glad you enjoyed reading the book but I don't think the book deserves the rating you gave it.

I really hate transgender, I do not know why anyone would want to change to another gender. It doesn't sound proper to me.

It is admirable that the author takes a thoughtful and grounded approach to the transgender topic. Despite not being trans, I feel like I can understand how John feels. when the majority of those in his immediate vicinity don't seem to comprehend what he is going through.
