I am generally a thriller/mystery/horror fan, but my all-time favorite book is actually a YA magical realism book; The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It is incredible! The world-building, the prose, the imagery. It's just astounding to me.

My husband recently introduced me to the Seven Realms series and I fell in love with it! He read them as a teenager and I wish I had too. Better late than never :) they are full of magic and adventure and the writing is gripping. The author drops you immediately into an interesting and well-crafted world.
