My favorite YA author is Sarah Dessen. I love each and every one of her books and her plots are always meaningful. I also appreciate that her books are all stand alone novels without any cliffhangers.

I would say Stephanie Perkins is my favorite. She wrote Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door, and Isla and the Happily Ever After. Girly books, but very well written. I could not put them down!

This is really hard, but I would have to say Cassandra Clare, mostly because I fell in LOVE with her series. Of course John Green has also got to be one of my favourites, I haven't been reading many contemporaries yet but hopefully I will soon, and I will probably fall in love with another author :)

Stephen Manes and Sarah Dessen are at the top of my list. Though I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with the one book I read from John Green. But mostly I prefer to stick with indie authors, and I have a huge list of those!

Is it possible to pick just one??? I love Richelle Mead but I think I'm a little biased because Vampire Academy is my favorite series. Aside from her though I really enjoy Jenny Han's books. They're perfect summer reads.

This is such a hard question for me because I have a lot of authors I love but than again, it's not hard at all because I LOVE COLLEEN HOOVER, for real I have a huge obsession with her work, her books give me chills. I love her so much so yeah she's my favourite YA author!

I just read 'Only Ever Yours' by Louise O'Neill and it blew my mind; I haven't been this impressed with a YA author in ages. She has another book coming out soon so if it's as good as the last she will definitely be a contender for a favourite!

One of my favorite YA authors is Justina Chen Headley, who wrote North of Beautiful, a truly inspiring young adult novel.

My favorite YA author would be John Green, even though he hasn't written much, the quality of what he has done is Awesome.

Ellen Hopkins is my absolute favorite. Her series Crank, Glass and Fallout was a very eye opening group of reads and really hit home for me. I had issues with the monster, and seeing it from someone else view as well as her children's was very close to home. Mrs Hopkins always finds a way to bring real issues and present them in a way that is relatable and understandable, but still great YA fiction.

Ooo, that's a hard question to answer. There are a lot of really good YA authors out there. Suzanne Collins, Rick Riordan, Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl are all so great, but I think I'd have to go with Richelle Mead. She paints such believable characters and situations initially finish her books in no time because I can't let them go for even a moment.

I think P.C. and Kristin Cast, the mother-daughter duo, have a lot of potential. They developed an amazing plot for their House of Night series, but it was a bit difficult to get past the childish language and sentence structure.
Other than that, I'm a sucker for John Green.

My favorite YA author is Becca Fitzpatrick. I love that it's so easy to get lost in her stories.

It's so hard to choose just one! But IF I absolutely had to, Sarra Cannon. Her series Beautiful Demons is amazing! I would recommend it to EVERYONE.
