What faction would you have chosen at 16?

Discuss the June 2014 book of the month Divergent by Veronica Roth. I think I would pick Amity. I am a very laid back and calm person and I like peace! I would fit will with Amity. If I had to choose a second I would probably pick Erudite because I am curious and love education!

At 16 I definitely would have chosen dauntless. I think I still probably would, but I'd be more on the border. However, at 16 I was fearless and did most things without thinking them through first. I thought I was always the brave one and I craved adrenaline and always had to be seen as the "tough" one.

I've mellowed out since then which is why I'm not sure I'd choose that now, but I can say with certainly that I would have chosen dauntless. Although in the end maybe it would have terrified me!

I think I would have been born into Abnegation because my parents are both very selfless people; they live to serve. I think I would have stayed in Abnegation because my parents taught me that you are great when you serve, and I would like to maintain their values. :D

OMG...I would have been born factionless!! LOL But if given the choice I would have totally chosen Amnity, I was just a go with the flow, lover not fighter teenage girl. I Hated conflict of any kind and was totally not the protector type, so I could not have been Duntless!!

I think I would have been born into Erudite. I would have chosen Abnegation at the time because I thought sacrifice and service was the path to happiness. I think as an adult I would choose Amity because I seek peace and self-sufficiency.

Definitely Amity for my 16-year-old self. I avoided conflict and was not a leader. I did enjoy learning, though I don't feel I would have fit in at Erudite. Maybe a bit too brainy for my tastes. I would have been happy serving in the fields and growing things and getting my hands dirty. I was more of a "flower child" as a teenager and liked to wander. In the Divergent world, I probably would have wandered myself factionless, lol.

I like to think I would be dauntless, but I'd probably be Erudite. I was definitely a goody-two-shoes at 16.

My family would have started out in Amity. We hold those values close but most of my family would have chosen Erudite. I would have been no different. Though for the most part my entire extended family are divergents. I value all the fraction identities.

I think that I would probably be in Erudite to begin with and I guess thats because my family really values education, and I do to but in the ceremony since I like a bit of action I would probably choose Dauntless. They just look so exciting and fearless.

I think I'd probably have been born into Erudite, given my parents' focus on my own and my brothers' education. When I was 16 I think I'd have had a tough choice between Dauntless and Amity, although I think Amity would have won out. I was just getting out of a phase of believing I could save the world, and entering a phase where I wished everyone could just get along (specifically my drama-filled friends at school). So yeah, Amity would have looked pretty tempting at the time.

I would say that I would have been born into Dauntless. Not only born into it, I would have chosen it as well.
I say dauntless because I have always had the courage to stand up to others and the toughness to hold my own(guess that comes with being the youngest lol). It just suits me. I have tattoos and piercings, I've jumped out of a plane and have gone zip lining. Being "dauntless" is just second nature to me, I do what I think is going to give me the absolute best experience at that time. Even now I would completely choose Dauntless. I just couldn't see myself choosing anything else.
