The book was so intense that it kept me on my toes. I couldn't put the book down, I just had to see what happened to her. I actually carried my kindle around with me, just hoping to get a few more minutes to read this book.
The movie was amazing, great actors. Rosamund Pike who played Amy was wicked, loved her character. Ben Affleck for me did a great job too.
I really feel that the movie did the book justice.

I had actually watched the movie before reading the book. I actually had no idea it was even a book until I was reading up on it to clarify some points I missed. The movie was very well-constructed. The narration by the Amy gave me chills and I loved her speech about what drove her to do what she did.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but now that I've finished the book, I need to rent a copy! When I do, I'll come back to share my thoughts.

I read the book and watched the movie and I think the movie is a very good adaptation. For obvious reasons, the movie lacks details and depth that made the book amazing. However, considering the time limit justifies that. Overall, I enjoyed the movie very much.

I watched the movie first before reading the book. Of course the book is more developed (especially on Nick's character, I think) and detailed, but.. I still liked the movie more. It's probably because of Rosamund Pike's portrayal of Amy.

As always, there are some scenes in the book that were not shown in the movie, but it did not affect the story in the movie at all.

I watched the movie after reading the book, which is what I usually prefer.

First of all, I felt that both Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike did an outstanding job with each of their roles. I knew Ben Affleck played the husband before I read the book, so I tried to picture him as I read it, and I felt he was perfect for the role.

I felt like the movie did indeed skip some moments, but most of it flowed similarly to the book. Due to the skipped scenes, I suspect this is why parts of the movie felt rushed. The ending, which I was disappointed with in the book, didn't change for the movie. I was still disappointed with the ending, and I was left with the thought of "Really?!"

I watched the movie as well in the meantime and loved it. I usually like books better than movies but in this instance I like the movie as much as the book. I'd recommend both.

I loved the movie. In fact, it was the movie that made me read the book. I have never seen a great movie. Its one of a kind.

I loved the movie adaptation. Even the atmosphere and settings were bleak and dark. The actors did a wonderful portrayal, and the narration by Amy was spot-on.

I personally didn't like the movie. Though it did a good job of sticking to the script, I felt like the movie did not match the thrill of the novel. The main characters were especially plain and flat. Just my opinion though.

After watching the movie, I definitely liked the book much better. However, I think the change the movie made to how Amy created so much blood in the kitchen was far more believable. Cutting yourself deep enough to make a blood spill of that size would inevitably leave you with nerve and muscle damage. Tapping the vein with a needle was a much more plausible scenario.
