I admire Piper for dealing with the consequences of her mother's death and taking care of her brother. The powers that Piper acquires on her eighteenth birthday sound amazing. I also enjoy the idea of her meeting magical creatures and adding another dimension to the story. Thank you for the enlightening review.

"Prophase: A Present Tale" seems like an intriguing fantasy novel with a relatable protagonist in Piper. It's always fascinating to see characters undergo transformation and uncover hidden truths about themselves and the world around them. While the world-building and magical elements are captivating, a bit more detail and development in certain areas could enhance the overall reading experience. Nonetheless, it sounds like a promising start to what could be an engaging series. Thanks for the insightful review!

At a very young age, Piper lost her mother. She was distraught when her boyfriend broke up with her during her senior year of high school. Piper is baffled at what is going on with her as she uses the car's own essence to prevent her pals from dying in an accident.

Somehow Piper has saved their lives by manipulating the very essence of the car and stopping a collision that would have taken all of their lives.
- I would love to find out how she did that, all on her own. What's more Intrigueing is that she is someone with good intentions and therefore may have got the powers for that. Thank you for an amazing review.

Your review is very interesting and intriguing! I sampled a few chapters, and although I have yet to read up to magic and fantasy, I agree that Piper is a very likeable and well-developed character. I can't comment on the shortcoming you mentioned about less well developed characters that made you deduct a star from the rating because I only sampled this book. And the sample was a great read!

A detailed review. Thank you.
The plot sounds as if it is loaded with magic and good adventure.
I am curious to know more about Piper and the actual
manipulation of the car's essence, preventing the accident from occurring. This sounds like the pivotal moment of where her ideas of reality take shift and open up new possibilities.
Congratulations to the author 👏

Thank you for your thoughtful review of "Prophase: A Present Tale." It sounds like an intriguing coming-of-age fantasy novel with a strong and relatable protagonist in Piper Walker. The way you describe her journey of self-discovery and the challenges she faces, both personal and supernatural, really piques my interest.

It's great to hear that the author, Street, has created such an imaginative world filled with different types of beings and magic. Piper's character seems well-developed, and her growth throughout the story sounds compelling. I can imagine how her newfound powers and the mysteries surrounding her would make for an exciting read.

I appreciate your insights about the need for more detailed descriptions and development of the different beings in the story. It seems like there's a lot of potential for further exploration and depth in the world-building, which could enhance the overall experience for readers.

Overall, your review has me intrigued and curious to dive into Piper's world. I'll definitely add "Prophase: A Present Tale" to my reading list and look forward to experiencing Piper's journey for myself.

Piper has been the only responsible adult in her house for a long time. Piper is excited to go to college with her boyfriend, but when he breaks up with her before her birthday, Piper is left heartbroken. This triggers a series of events that end up with her saving a life, but the question that lingers is: how?

I have heard prophase only in biology. When I saw the title and the drawings in the book, I thought it's only about biology but was pleasantly surprised that is was a fantasy novel instead. I think everyone will enjoy this book. Congratulations on BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

I like this fantasy coming of age novel about the girl named Piper who seem to develop extraordinary features that she wants to know more about. However, I'm also fascinated with the cat in the book cover, does it have anything to do with Piper?
