Review of The Story of Finn The Last Winged Unicorn
In life, we all have different missions. Sometimes, we want to discover new things. The people we meet and how they help us along the way are important for our success. In the book, Finn goes on a mission to find other animals like him.
The Story of Finn The Last Winged Unicorn by Bettina Mills is about a little creature with a horn and wings who feels different from everyone around him. He sets off on an adventure to find others like him. Along the way, he meets many animals, like rhinoceroses, alpine ibexes, and ostriches, but none are like him. Finally, with the help of a wise owl and a kind horse named Liza, Finn's journey is made easier, and he gains a sense of belonging. To find out how Finn's journey ends, read the book.
There are several aspects of the book that I love. The book contains many pictures that illustrate each message. For example, the author included a picture of Finn's mother, the giraffe, and pictures of the animals Finn met on his journey, like the rhinoceros, zebras, ostriches, horse, and owl. This is excellent because it helps readers, especially those unfamiliar with these animals, to visualize them. The book teaches the importance of true love. The giraffe showed Finn genuine love, and Finn had a good relationship with both his mother and Liza. It also emphasizes the importance of determination in achieving our goals. Despite the challenges Finn faced when meeting different animals, like ostriches and rhinoceroses that didn't look like him, he continued his journey.
There was nothing in the book that I did not like. It was excellent and taught valuable lessons about friendship, the importance of finding a sense of belonging, and the importance of love. Readers will also learn about different animals from the book.
I didn't find any mistakes in the book, so it's very well edited. Due to the aspects of the book that I liked, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars and suggest it for kids who are interested in self-discovery and enjoy adventure books.
