Farmer Beau and his wife Bamma were excited to sit and watch the six kittens that showed up in their garage. They took care of them as they grew. Sooner than they thought, the other five kittens were gone. Kathleen says they thought the grass was greener on the other side. Hehe. Only one kitten was left, and they named her Kailey and built her a house. Kailey Kitten loved her new place, and soon she got a companion who, at first, she thought was a mysterious bundle of fur. However, this was not the end of the adventure and mysteries for her; more were coming.

Farmer Beau's Farm by Kathleen Geiger is an unusually beautiful and entertaining children's book. The back story of the idea is even more intriguing, and I recommend you don't look it up and only read it at the end of the book; I found it more interesting that way. All you have to know is that Kathleen is a retired third-grade teacher, and we all know children are sources of great imagination.

I love how the story opened up with colorful illustrations. The presentation of Farmer Beau's farm is warm and comfortable. Reading about Farmer Beau and his wife Bamma brought a sense of family and togetherness, especially when Beau noticed the six kittens and called his wife to share such a cute scene.

Kailey and her new friend are adorable and easily liked. Kailey portrayed different lessons to be learned by children and adults as well. The lesson in the book built a sense of understanding in a way that would be easy for children to understand.

However, I noted one aspect that detracted from the book's quality. The font was considerably small, even for an adult. Having a larger font for children's books is an aspect that should be considered. I have deducted a star for this aspect. The editing is professional. Therefore, my rating for Farmer Beau's Farm is 4 out of 5 stars.

Children will love the colorful illustrations, the playful characters, and the magic of Farmer Beau's farm. Moreover, parents will find this book educational for their children.

*Farmer Beau's Farm* by Kathleen Geiger is a charming children’s book with delightful illustrations and a warm story about family and friendship. The engaging characters and simple lessons make it a wonderful read for kids, though the small font size could be a challenge. Overall, it's a lovely and educational book with a minor flaw.

A sweet children's book that perfectly captures the wonder of family, friendship, and adventure on a charming farm is "Farmer Beau's Farm" by Kathleen Geiger. With vivid illustrations that are sure to captivate young readers, the tale of Kailey Kitten and her enigmatic new friend is masterfully brought to life. With underlying lessons about empathy and companionship that appeal to both children and adults, the story is interesting and simple enough for young readers to follow. All in all, though, the experience is somewhat diminished by the small font size, which may prove difficult for younger readers. "Farmer Beau's Farm" obtains a strong 4 out of 5 stars and is a delightful read despite this small issue. Children and parents alike will find this to be a charming story.
