This journey with the garden sounds like an absolutely magical adventure! I would love to see what happens to Adele as she encounters new friends and explores within the garden.

The BOTD is a great illustrated children's book that can help them learn about the environment but also exciting with great characters that can entertain them and give them good lessons on resilience, motivation etc ,a great story line on transition and a great review.

Thank you for this detailed review of Adele and the Whispering Garden! The blend of adventure, education, and environmental themes makes this book sound like an excellent choice for children. I love how Adele's journey of reviving the garden not only brings excitement but also introduces important life skills like resilience and teamwork. The inclusion of Squiggle and Lulu as supportive friends adds a touch of fun and creativity to the story, and it’s great to hear that they contribute to the learning experience.

The comparison to The Secret Garden is particularly appealing—there’s something timeless about stories where young characters connect with nature and grow alongside it. While the headings’ design may detract slightly from the reading experience, the vivid illustrations and professional editing seem to make up for it. This sounds like a beautiful book to entertain and educate children while encouraging environmental awareness. Thanks again for the thorough review!

Hi Melisa Jane, I just read your comments on the official review of “Adele and the Whispering Garden” by Polly Richards and I believe there is a lot more to the story. This is a story about a young girl named Adele and her move to a new home with a rundown garden with great potential. Adele makes friends with Squiggle and Lulu along the way and they help her revive the garden. This book will help children learn about education, resilience and motivation. Every time Adele feels down about the progress being made in the garden, she is motivated to be resilient to her goals for the garden. The illustrations throughout the story really help and will make the story easier to understand for 7- to 9-year-olds. Adele has a lot to learn about herbs and flowers but with help from the friends she meets along the way the garden is destined to be bountiful. @Mrlefty0706
